The students of Beal High School put on their production of Bugsy Malone. A lot of hard work and a huge amount of commitment went into ensuring the production would be as polished as possible.
I was delighted to have been given the opportunity for the two day 2018 Rosalind STEM conference at Newnham College at Cambridge University
On the 14th March 2018 a group of 25 students were selected to participate in a medical course along with 4 other schools and a mixture of ages. We were accompanied by Ms Begum and Mr Rodriguez.
On Tuesday 13th March, 42 students & staff took part in the Redbridge Music School's Choral Festival, which was held at the Royal Albert Hall. There were just under 2000 pupils who took part in total.
On Monday 12th March 2018, eighteen students from Year 7 and Year 8 visited the Lee Valley VeloPark.
Following on from the AIR QUALITY CAMPAIGN article under our GOOD NEWS section, the group have been awarded a further £250 on top of the £250 which they have already secured!
After winning both the heat and semi final Zac booked his place in the under 17 mens 200m final with 4 other runners. It was a competitive field and it was expected to be a tight race.
On Wednesday 31st January a group of Year 8 students took place in the Redbridge Dance Festival. They competed against other schools in the Redbridge area and did an amazing job representing Beal High School.
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) is a field of wide variety and it opens pathways to many careers in the future. However, statistics portray a very low number of female students involved in STEM.
