Exam Results 2017

Good news from Beal High School!

Beal High School students have been celebrating exceptional examination results this week. The hardworking Sixth Form has outperformed national averages in every grade category!

In reality that means that 90% of students who applied have already secured their University place. 30% of those successful are going to Russell Group Universities challenging another trend as DFE statistics state that 11% of state school students is an average.

We are very proud of our seven Oxbridge students – five Cambridge and two Oxford and we know the future is safe in the hands of our medics, dentist and our first vet, ever!

Staff and students have worked hard in really challenging circumstances for post 16 education. With a combination of A level and Applied courses – the hardest ever – they have smashed all school records: A* – A 36.4%, A* – B 62%, A* – C 82%, A* – D 94%, A* – E 99% With numbers like this, we are proud of ALL of our students who have achieved their personal goals and are leaving Beal for exciting futures. With an average point score of 36.7 Beal High School is far from average!
