Our Year 9 students had an incredible time at the East London Science and Technology Challenge Day held at the University of East London, Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability on Friday, 11th July 2025.

Twelve students from Beal High School represented us, working in pairs alongside students from seven other schools. They took part in exciting hands-on challenges, worked as teams, and showed fantastic problem-solving and innovation throughout the day. We\u2019re so proud of their creativity, curiosity, and teamwork!

I am incredibly proud to announce the following achievements:

\ud83e\udd47 Medical Diagnosis \u2013 Runners Up from Beal High School: Tara Cambo (9UE) and Lujain Boukerrou (9UE)
\ud83e\udd48 Robotics \u2013 Runners Up from Beal High School: Gabrielle Nkeaka (9AA) and Yuvraj Singh (9DR)
\ud83c\udfc6 E-FIT \u2013 All were really impressive and gave a tough competition.

The event concluded with awards presented by a senior member of staff from UEL . Our students showed great enthusiasm, confidence, and collaboration throughout the day \u2014 a real testament to their potential and hard work.
