OUR VISION

Our work is focused on providing EAL students with opportunities to enhance the English Language progress through a variety of arrangements. Students are presented with language support in their mainstream lessons as well as with orientated English language interventions. They can access group interventions for students of different English levels and year groups. Students will have 1 to 1 lessons as needed. Students develop listening and speaking skills, expand vocabulary, deepen understanding of different texts and other activities that would help them with all the other subjects in the school. EAL interventions foster a learning environment where bilingualism and multilingualism are valued and encouraged to be developed further. Students can follow the iGCSE English as Second Language route in KS4 to achieve the best of their ability in English.
