Year 7 is the time of transition, growth, discovery and new beginnings. As students embark on their new journey, our focus is to ensure support for all, academic progression, personal development as well as a range of extra curriculum opportunities. Our students are constantly learning, improving and embracing challenges.
A Mind To Be Kind‘ is the Year 7 Motto and is at the heart of supporting our students to be successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens.

Year 8 marks an exciting stage in our students secondary school journey. It’s a year of growth, exploration, and new challenges, where students build on the foundations laid in Year 7. This year, our focus is on reflection and responsibility, encouraging students to look back on their progress, set meaningful goals, and take ownership of their learning and actions. Year 8 also provides students with opportunities to experience leadership, helping them develop confidence, teamwork, and decision-making skills. Ultimately, our goal is to nurture successful learners, confident individuals, and responsible citizens.

Year 9 is an exciting and important year where students choose their GCSE options and continue to develop skills and techniques required to help them excel both in and out of school. This year we also explore further career options for the future. In addition, Year 9 gives every student the opportunity to develop their oracy skills by taking part in the Excalibre project. As well as studying, we make sure to involve students in as many extra-curricular activities as possible to make the most of the wide range of opportunities available at Beal.

RECYCLING PROJECT
