Artsmark Gold by Arts Council England

We are pleased to announce that Beal High School has been awarded Artsmark Gold by Arts Council England. We are the only secondary school in Redbridge to hold such an award.

The accolade is achieved following a two-year cycle of Arts provision, events, and celebration. Arts Council England were particularly impressed by “the range of arts subjects that we offer at GCSE and A Level, our diverse extracurricular activities, the extensive collaborations with creative practitioners and organisations, as well as our robust CPD opportunities.”

We would like to thank all departments specifically the Creative Arts departments (Art, Drama, Design Technology, Media, and Music) for taking a lead on providing such a rich art curriculum and our creative students for their hard work and commitment.  Furthermore, we would like to acknowledge our Creative Arts Ambassadors from all key stages who act as leaders on our many initiatives and are at the heart of all arts events and projects across the school and beyond.

Beal High school is truly an inspiring place where our students are encouraged to create, participate and be leaders in extraordinary art and cultural experiences.
