It brings us great joy and pride to share some truly fantastic news! Our top 59 KS3 mathematicians from Years 7 and 8 have achieved record-breaking results in this year’s Junior Maths Challenge—marking a milestone for Beal High School.
The Mathematics Department is absolutely delighted with this outstanding accomplishment and warmly congratulates all the students involved. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and problem-solving prowess shone brilliantly throughout the competition.
Here are some of the incredible highlights from this year’s challenge:
A dramatic increase in the number of Gold, Silver, and Bronze certificates awarded—surpassing previous years and reflecting the students’ exceptional talent and commitment.
Year 8 students led the way, with an astounding 97% of participants earning a Gold or Silver or Bronze certificate—setting a new all-time record for Beal High School!
Even more impressively, several students have qualified for the Junior Kangaroo Challenge.
