Our Year 9 students had an incredible time at the East London Science and Technology Challenge Day held at the University of East London, Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability on Friday, 11th July 2025.
Twelve students from Beal High School represented us, working in pairs alongside students from seven other schools. They took part in exciting hands-on challenges, worked as teams, and showed fantastic problem-solving and innovation throughout the day. We’re so proud of their creativity, curiosity, and teamwork!
I am incredibly proud to announce the following achievements:
🥇 Medical Diagnosis – Runners Up from Beal High School: Tara Cambo (9UE) and Lujain Boukerrou (9UE)
🥈 Robotics – Runners Up from Beal High School: Gabrielle Nkeaka (9AA) and Yuvraj Singh (9DR)
🏆 E-FIT – All were really impressive and gave a tough competition.
The event concluded with awards presented by a senior member of staff from UEL . Our students showed great enthusiasm, confidence, and collaboration throughout the day — a real testament to their potential and hard work.
