A Great Start to GCSE Study for Year 10
Our Year 10 cohort have made a fantastic start to their GCSE studies following their first week back at school. Students have returned with a positive attitude, a strong sense of purpose and a real commitment to making the most of the opportunities ahead.
Across lessons, students have demonstrated excellent engagement, resilience and enthusiasm for their learning. They are beginning to recognise the increased expectations that come with GCSE study and have responded maturely, showing that they are ready to take greater ownership of their progress and achievement.
The first week has been an encouraging indication of what this cohort can achieve over the next two years. We are particularly pleased to see students embracing challenge, asking thoughtful questions and developing the habits and routines that will support them throughout their GCSE journey.
KS4 Vice Principal Ms Chantaduc commented:
“It has been wonderful to see our Year 10 students return with such energy and determination. Their first week has demonstrated a real commitment to learning and a willingness to rise to the challenges of GCSE study. This is a very promising start, and we look forward to seeing our students build on this positive momentum throughout the year.”
We would like to congratulate all of our Year 10 students on such a strong start and thank our staff for their continued support and encouragement. We look forward to celebrating the progress and successes of the cohort as their GCSE journey continues.
