OUR VISION
The R.S. and Philosophy curriculum is crafted with critical thinking at its foundation. At KS3, the curriculum aims to deliver an in-depth approach to the six major world religions, looking at their key theology, history and practices. This aims to broaden the understandings of the different beliefs that surrounds us whilst also engaging students in debate and critical thinking. At KS4, students explore Christianity and Islam looking at them in further depth and applying their beliefs to key themes. This develops their comparative thinking and application skills. At KS5, students are taught Religion, Philosophy and Ethics, three broad components which draw from various disciplines to allow deep and comprehensive learning.
