Explore how society shapes the world around us with our engaging Sociology curriculum, fostering critical thinking, cultural awareness, and a deeper understanding of human behavior and social structures.

OUR VISION

Our curriculum aims to equip students with a deep understanding of sociological concepts, theories, and real-world applications, preparing them for critical thinking of contemporary issues. The subject fosters a keen awareness of how society impact individuals, groups, and organizations. By studying Sociology at GCSE and A level, our students develop strong analytical skills, the ability to evaluate data, and an understanding of local and global behaviour. Additionally, students enhance their problem-solving, communication, and empathetic skills, all of which are valuable for future academic and professional success.

To support all students sitting public GCSE and A level exams at the school this summer and as is our standard practice, we will change the timings within the school day from Tuesday 5th May to Friday 12th June inclusive. The start and end times are not affected
