Our curriculum offers an engaging, broad, and comprehensive study of the media, allowing students to develop critical and analytical skills. Students explore a range of key media issues and gain a deep understanding of how the media shapes and influences society, culture, and politics. At GCSE, students focus on analysing and comparing media products, applying specialist terminology, and understanding the contexts in which media is produced and consumed. At A-level, students will further develop their ability to critically engage with media texts and contexts, while building their practical production skills. Both courses provide a platform for students to make informed arguments, reach well-supported judgements, and create media content themselves, bridging theory and practice.
