Year 12 Future Leaders

Future Leaders is a free London Borough of Redbridge-funded initiative for Year 12 students, delivered in partnership with the University of Oxford. The initiative supports students in securing competitive university and apprenticeship places and empowers them to stand against all forms of hate, intolerance and extremism.

– The programme includes:
– Weekly online sessions
– Monthly in-person sessions
– UCAS support from leading admission tutors
– Apprenticeship support from leading companies
– Work experience opportunities
– Mentoring by professionals, undergraduate students and current apprentices
– Residential at Oxford University
– Trips to 10 Downing Street, Parliament and City Hall

Organisers of the prestigious Future Leaders programme conduct a highly competitive selection process that includes requesting video submissions from students. This year, a record number of 89 Year 12 BSF students have been offered places on to either the in-person or online programme. We are incredibly proud of this. With over 160 applications for the EBRD Programme, we are also pleased to announce that Maya Norkulova 12IM performed exceptionally well to be selected. Well done Maya!
