On Tuesday 6th October, our A-Level History students enjoyed a fantastic trip to Westminster and the Churchill War Rooms. The day began with a walking tour of some of London’s most iconic historical landmarks, including Parliament Square, the Cenotaph, Downing Street and Horse Guards Parade.
Students then explored the Churchill War Rooms and Museum, gaining a fascinating insight into Britain’s wartime leadership and the life of Winston Churchill. The trip was a great success, with students showing enthusiasm, curiosity and excellent conduct throughout. A brilliant opportunity to bring history to life beyond the classroom!.
