WOHAA group Heartwork

As part of their social action work with WOHAA, our Heartwork student group (in year 12) recently visited Lambourne End Farm to support an exciting community project. On arrival, students were introduced to the farm’s goats and shown the area where a brand-new shelter was planned. After a briefing on the day’s tasks, the team quickly got to work.

Throughout the day, students demonstrated teamwork and determination as they shovelled, transported materials in wheelbarrows, and helped construct the framework for the new goat houses. This was a project the farm had been preparing for, and our students focused on making meaningful progress during their visit.

In addition to their hands-on work, the group had the opportunity to explore the farm and learn more about its daily operations and animal care. The experience provided valuable insight into community service, responsibility, and the positive impact of working together to support local initiatives.
