OUR VISION

Our curriculum has been developed to support students to be competent and independent coders, who are equipped with robust digital literacy and online security skills. Through activity-based learning, we will teach the core programming principles of sequence, selection and iteration, whilst fostering computational thinking skills to solve real-world problems.

We aim for students to become discerning researchers, creators, and refiners of digital artefacts, while understanding the intricacies of data representation, and network and system performance, based on hardware and software specifications. We ultimately, aim to prepare our students to thoughtfully engage with the ethical, legal, cultural, and environmental impacts of technology, to become responsible and innovative digital citizens.

To support all students sitting public GCSE and A level exams at the school this summer and as is our standard practice, we will change the timings within the school day from Tuesday 5th May to Friday 12th June inclusive. The start and end times are not affected
